Weddings

Erron and Ailyn | Nana’s Farm, Tagaytay Engagement Session

Erron’s wait came when Ailyn went to a two-year community service for their church, and when he went on to propose to Ailyn – which was done during a friend’s wedding. Erron held on to two things, in these situations: one, his love for Ailyn, and two, the engagement ring inside his sock, ready to be pulled out for the proposal.

Nicko and Kristelle Joy | Chateau de Tagaytay Engagement Session

Reading their answers to the questionnaire, Nicko asked if he can formally propose during the pre-wedding shoot. This is something that we cannot just let go, since this is the first time we ever heard of this sort of idea. We made sure that everything was set up for the act, and when they changed into their second outfit, that’s when we did the deed.

Hezron and Brent | Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador, Pulilan, Bulacan Wedding

FROM TINDER TO FOREVER! SWIPE RIGHT FOR YOUR MR. / MRS. RIGHT!

One can never be too prepared for any up and coming opportunity. This is a fight between what you can and cannot control. However, when the opportunity presents itself, and you’re all too prepared for it, that’s what I’d like to call Serendipity. This is what Hezron and Brent’s Wedding Story is about – from SWIPING RIGHT, to SETTLING DOWN WITH MRS. RIGHT!

Bok and Julie | Azienda Verde Alfonso, Tagaytay Christian Wedding

Bok and Julie’s Wedding was full of surprises.

For instance, Julie’s gift to Bok came in two parts: one given in the garden, and another, in the kitchen. Won’t be mentioning what those gift are, it’s for you to find out.

Similarly, Bok and I share a similar status when we got married: we walked the aisle with only one parent. For me, it was my dad who missed the action. For Bok, it was his mom. Later during the ceremony, when asked to give a message to his late mom, Bok vulnerably went into tears.

What really surprised us was when Bok and Julie entered the reception venue, Julie was singing on top of her lungs! It felt like it was centuries since we saw a bride do this!

Dan and Joanna | Our Lady of Remedies – Malate Catholic Church Wedding

As polar opposites, Joanna spent most of her preps in a quiet, mild manner – Prim and Proper, as they say. When we got to Dan’s room for his dress-up, it was one heck of a rumble – with all his groomsmen rushing to him, to dress him up, with a pinch of liquior on the side (but of course). It was the first time we saw the entire men-tourage lifting the groom to get his pants and shoes on.

Dustin and Vien | Makati Civil Wedding

Vien is the sister of our onsite photo editor, Victoria. We got to know Dustin when he drove for our team in one of our Tagaytay weddings. When we got news about their plans of getting married, me and my wife got really excited. It’s really an honor and a pleasure shooting for our dear friends, and nothing can ever replace being trusted to tell their wedding story, no matter how simple or complex they may be.
