One can never be too prepared for any up and coming opportunity. This is a fight between what you can and cannot control. However, when the opportunity presents itself, and you’re all too prepared for it, that’s what I’d like to call Serendipity. This is what Hezron and Brent’s Wedding Story is about – from SWIPING RIGHT, to SETTLING DOWN WITH MRS. RIGHT!
Bok and Julie’s Wedding was full of surprises.
For instance, Julie’s gift to Bok came in two parts: one given in the garden, and another, in the kitchen. Won’t be mentioning what those gift are, it’s for you to find out.
Similarly, Bok and I share a similar status when we got married: we walked the aisle with only one parent. For me, it was my dad who missed the action. For Bok, it was his mom. Later during the ceremony, when asked to give a message to his late mom, Bok vulnerably went into tears.
What really surprised us was when Bok and Julie entered the reception venue, Julie was singing on top of her lungs! It felt like it was centuries since we saw a bride do this!
As polar opposites, Joanna spent most of her preps in a quiet, mild manner – Prim and Proper, as they say. When we got to Dan’s room for his dress-up, it was one heck of a rumble – with all his groomsmen rushing to him, to dress him up, with a pinch of liquior on the side (but of course). It was the first time we saw the entire men-tourage lifting the groom to get his pants and shoes on.
Tough times come and go, but tough brides and grooms are a different breed of beings, especially the ones who will defy mornings just to get married. Justin and Ann Margaret – conquered the morning, conquered the pandemic, and conquered our hearts with their wedding story. Because all you really need is #JUSTanANNsweredPrayer.

Vien is the sister of our onsite photo editor, Victoria. We got to know Dustin when he drove for our team in one of our Tagaytay weddings. When we got news about their plans of getting married, me and my wife got really excited. It’s really an honor and a pleasure shooting for our dear friends, and nothing can ever replace being trusted to tell their wedding story, no matter how simple or complex they may be.
Weddings in Tagaytay are totally-unpredictable, like it’s weather. We had a wedding earlier the same month as Ron and Viena’s, filled with sunny and cloudless skies. With theirs, it was a bit drizzling, so we had to step up to the challenge of retaining every wedding detail we had to shoot.
From the original plan of having a Sofitel Wedding like Kevin and Ingrid’s, the pandemic hit Archie and Ivy hard, that they had to postpone. Eventually, the perfect time came, and we were able to shoot their wedding – maybe not the Sofitel Wedding they had hoped for, but a bigger, better one – at Casa Grande Flora.
