Paolo and Ivy’s wedding is definitely one for the books, mainly because, aside from it’s what we want to call a “Wedding in the New Normal”, their wedding raised the bar with the challenge. We never thought that we’d encounter a preparation venue which limited the number of guests that can enter. Normally, we operate with a ton of manpower (and when we say a ton, we mean it), but with Paolo and Ivy’s Wedding, only a fraction of our team was allowed to shoot – we decided to do a 2 Videographer + 1 Photographer approach. It’s been a long time since I last shot a wedding prep all by myself!
With adversity comes opportunity. Beforehand, Paolo’s words encouraged us to take this awesome challenge, saying he had full trust in our team, no matter what the situation we are put in. The rest of the day was full of bliss, as the entire team went head-on with the ceremonies and the reception.
