It was a great day at the Realship Yacht Charter and Rentals for Justin and Ann Margaret’s Engagement Session. The sun was up, the weather was good, and everything was in plan. However, we might have spoken too early that day about one thing – the weather.
One thing that these two really love is Practical Shooting. Dan was the one who encouraged Joanna to try it out, and the rest was history. Our team truly had a smooth time shooting – both with our cameras and their guns.
We waited, and waited, until the green light came (when quarantine restrictions eased), and we made their pre-wedding a reality – of course, with Sofitel as their canvass, since Ivy is part of Sofitel’s Family. Archie’s hesitation still lingered upon us, but when we met him, he was more than eager to be photographed, that he was jumping and running up until our third set!
They were supposed to get married at Paco Church, but decided to move it to some place up north. When the restrictions eased up, they decided to do the pre-wedding in Bulacan (Brent’s Hometown). We were lucky to shoot at the personal garden of Brent’s Aunt and Uncle. We had the chance to shoot a few frames as well at Brent’s place, with their dogs.
Lorenz and Jackie’s engagement session is a good mix of chill vibes and full tummies. They had their first date at Mary Grace Cafe in Makati, so what better place to do their E-session than at the said location. We then headed to Geluk Gentri at Banawe for some afternoon coffee. Finally, to cap the day, we had neon-lit cocktails at Cloak & Dagger, going through the night.
Kaye gave Benj a Big Skinny Wallet, and in return, Benj gave Kaye some cookbooks. It’s like Benj saying “You cook for me.”, and Kaye saying “You buy me what to cook for you, then.”
When Viena messaged me about their engagement session, what came to our minds was a concept that was pretty much controversial – a “Fifty Shades” pre-wedding.
Never in our entire career in shooting weddings did we imagine that we’ll be shooting a MARVEL Superhero-inspired one.
We have covered a lot of weddings, and we have told a lot of wedding stories – maybe not a ton, but a lot. We thought we have seen it all, but Matthy and Carla’s Wedding still surprised us with how one relative “attended” their wedding.
