Benjamin and Kaye | San Bartolome Parish Church, Malabon New Normal Wedding

Benjamin and Kaye’s Wedding reminds me of one thing – one of my very first weddings in my entire career as a wedding photographer was in Malabon.

Malabon’s a great place to hold a Filipiniana-inspired wedding, mainly because of it’s rich history and because of it’s churches with sound architecture.

Benjamin and Kaye had to make do with a small number of guests during the preparation. With only the Best Man and 2 Maid of Honors, their wedding entourage is probably one of the smallest we have shot.

When the time came for the gift giving, Kaye gave Benj a Big Skinny Wallet, and in return, Benj gave Kaye some cookbooks. It’s like Benj saying “You cook for me.”, and Kaye saying “You buy me what to cook for you, then.”

Quarantine Restrictions may have changed the way weddings work, but there is one thing that’s constant, and that is, when we say, #LoveIsImmune. Benjamin and Kaye’s New Normal Wedding Story is a way of telling ourselves that no matter what situation we might be in, Love will always, always prevail.
